TH Swivel Clasp Charm

This is a charm I made for my mom. I made it for her to hang on her purse so she'll have her grandkids with her wherever she goes. Therefore, I included two fragment charms(one with my niece,Renee, and one with my nephew, Joshua)Then I included a giraffe charm because she likes them. I decided to fill the rest of the charm with buttons and charms that were love related and made the charm a red,black and white color scheme. I hope you like it! It actually surprised me on how light this charm really is. You'd think because there are so many elements it might add extra weight to your purse but it doesn't! I can't wait to make one for myself. First, a Betty Boop inspired TH swivel clasp charm for my sister.

12x12 layouts

After work, everyday this week, I wanted to craft. Scrapbooking a layout was fast enough so that I can still wind down before going to bed, and feel like I accomplished something. Working on my niece and nephews scrapbooks sounded like a good idea. So here are a few layouts that I have completed this week.

Posh Designs Layout 19

Here is my layout and card for challenge #19.

For the layout I used paper from My Minds Eye, Totally Girl and Complete Boy collections. I also used my 2 inch circle punch and some prima flowers with buttons.

For the card I used DCWV's pocket full of posies mat stack, some prima flowers and some bling. A sentiment from a wooden stamp.

Such a fun time making these and not a lot of time invested into it. Was totally worth it and can't wait to complete more of the challenges.

I decided to finally get a start on posh designs scrapbooking store layout and card challenges. So I went and looked at all 19 layouts up to date and number 14 suited this photo the best right now.. so here it is.. the sketch and then my layout.

Halloween Treat Bags

I made these halloween treat bags for the kids in my family. I took paper bags and painted them orange. Thank goodness for the heat gun so I don't have to wait long for it to dry :D I then used the Ravenhead Manor paper pack from recollections and used the tim holtz distressing tool and use that on the edges. Color in some Greeting farm digi stamps with crayola markers. Filled them with candy and voila!

 

Altered Canvas - Triggered Response

Inspired by some youtuber's, I've decided to create an 8x10 canvas for my cousin, Kayla. She's in a band in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I decided I'd have her first "fan art" lol. Getting To Know Me

Hey Everyone!

I'm so excited to show you my new start to scrapbooking. I've been introduced to scrapbooking for a long time.. ok maybe not 15 years like some of you lol I am only 22 years old. Although my mom introduced me to crafting at a young age. I definitely get that from my mom's side.

My pepere loves woodworking making stuff from shaped cartoon characters to put up at their old camp years ago or making santa and reindeer to display in their front yard every year (wish I had a picture to show you) and now as he gets older he made every girl in our family a beautiful cedar chest. Everyone was a little different and different fabric as well. He also been making lots of birdhouses and made our coffee table, fireplace contour I guess you can call it. Anyway, lol.

My memere and my mom got me into crafting such as crochet and knitting and wanting to be interested in the arts. I pretty much got into scrapbooking by asking my mom what all of it was about. My layouts were pretty boring now but I was proud back then lol I will make my first youtube video on my very short 12x12 book that is pretty much mixed with different themes per page.

For the past month, I've been addicted to youtube (naturegirl88). All you girls I am subscribed to amaze me and are such an inspiration to me. I never new what mini albums were and once I saw some I can't wait to get started on my own. I also looked at hauls and wow that is perfect for me haha Hello my name is Sarah and I am a shoppoholic and a scrapoholic! :)
