week 22: 52 week sketch challenge

welcome!
I'm so excited to share with you my layout for this week. Sometimes with this challenge I end up not liking my layouts so much but I love this one!

week 22 sketch

week 22 layout
so I decided to scrapbook polar bear pictures from 2004.  My mom took me there after the company she worked for built it.

Using cosmo cricket earth love & the boyfriend paper stack. I used the earth love paper.

I also used some white and teal crinkled seam binding for the white stripe on the left under the two smaller photos as well as the teal under the large photo making a bow.

I inked up some edges with tim holtz distress ink in old paper, walnut stain and bundled sage.

week 21: 52 week sketch challenge

Hi! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Here it was a long weekend and I had a blast at my parent's new camper. Had my very first sunburn of this summer! Ouch! Still feel it 3 days later.  When I got back though, I couldn't wait to do a layout of my nephew.  Spending the weekend with him was super fun and reminded me of this picture of him a while back. He's so fun and goofy I had to scrap this one. Hope you like it just as much as do.

Mother's Day Cards

So today I decided NO! I didn't want to buy a mother's day card. I wanted to make one lol. I came home from work and knew I had to get this put together and since my mom said she hasn't bought a card for my grandmother yet, I decided to make two. My grandma's in french however.

Hope you like it!

I chose My Mind's Eye Life Story  as a base. I just love the look of this! So gorgeous! I flipped my extra cardstock and used the kraft look as the piece for my title. I used Inkadinkado's Type Writer Uper Case stamp set with stazon ink in Jet Black. I then used my 1/2 inch circle punch and punched out each letter and inked up the edges of the letters and the card with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I decided to use pop dots to adhere the letters to make the title. I then added one of my handmade ribbon flowers with one Prima leaf.

Thank you for stopping by!
Take care cuz I care.

Papercraft star challenge 43

Although I missed the deadline for this challenge I said why not and decided to make something anyway.
I was feeling crafty and really like the way this turned out.

I do not make cards often but after seeing the banners in this photo I had to use that for a birthday card. Hope you like it.

For this card I used ATD Birthday Wishes paper pack
I used the paper pack for the background as well as cutting out the balloon.
I used Mia Road banner chipboad pieces and covered it in paper from the paper pack as well.
I decided to paint the two scallop banners as well as the edges of the card.
I stamped Happy Birthday with a wood mounted stamp from Inkadinkado.

Let me know what you think.

Take care,
Sarah aka naturegirl0415

Unscripted Sketches #104

Here is my entry for Unscripted Sketches challenge #104

This week I decided to create a card.

For this card, I used Cosmo Cricket Honey Pie collection.
I also used Tim Holtz paper (pink with white polka dots)
The title came from the sticker sheet.
The butterfly with the punch outs and the swirl is from the rub ons.
I also decided to bling up the butterfly with some rinestones from my local dollar store.
I also lightly distressed the edges with white paint.
