Week 9: 52 week sketch challenge

Welcome to week 9!
This week's sketch is simple... Sometimes less is more and I LOVE the way my my layout turned out!

I decided since it was a one photo sketch that I'd finally use one of my cousin Kayla's pictures. This photo is taken by a professional photographer.

This title I had to trim a bit but it's from My Mind's Eye Title Mega Pack that I picked up at peachycheap.com

I used my brand new circle cutter from Martha Stewart! Love it!

 I distressed all the edges of everything except the photo and of course the flower. I distressed it using Vintage Photo Distress Ink from Tim Holtz

I added my handmade brown ribbon flower. I had two pieces of swirl bling that I had left over from a previous project. I also decided to add a stick pin. Has white and green beads.

Week 8: 52 week sketch challenge

Welcome to week 8 of my 52 week sketch challenge!

This sketch was difficult for me to get started because I had a hard time actually choosing 6 photos that went together or  had the same theme in mind. I didn't want to start my camping trip album just yet but with the photos I had to choose.. I had to start a new album..Hope there aren't too many 6 photo sketch layouts.. I don't know how I'll manage! lol jk

Here is the sketch and my layout for this week. Hope you take on the biggest challenge yet in my opinion.

week 7 : 52 week sketch challenge

Week 7 already! time is flying over here.
This week has a one photo layout that's super fast to make! Probably one of the fastest yet!


So here it is...

This week I used the ALL GIRL paper pack by RECOLLECTIONS.

I chose a picture of me and my sister about 2 years ago. I decided it was time for yet another girly layout.

I used four different papers in the paper stack. I used a sheet that had sentiments and journaling spots for the title "beauty" and at the bottom in the journaling spot I put the definition of beauty that I had in the dictionary closest to me at the time. For the black dots around the photo and design on the side I used the Ranger inksentials enamel in black.

Maybe took about 20 mins... very fun!

Week 6 : 52 week sketch challenge

Welcome to the 6th week! Hope you got lots of things to write for this one :P

Very fast layout..well it was for me :D

Here is the sketch.

I made this layout using paper from K & Company Wild Safron collection.

I used Tim Holtz distress ink on the edges of the papers. coordinating colors.

I also used foam letters for the title and used a red marker to add stiching to the letters to add more color and interest.   Super quick layout!
